What you see – From the outside, the cream colored building of DLF Emporio in Vasant Kunj, Delhi looks no less than a mansion. A marble water fountain gives an elegant touch to it. More often than not, you will find luxury cars parked outside , thanks to the range of brands that this mall houses. Hardly a wonder that it is so popular with expats, foreign diplomats and the NRIs.

The elegant interiors remind you of those of a five star hotel. There is a group of musicians playing near the courtyard. An information desk and a coffee lounge area is also a part of the main floor of the mall and resembles the one at Taj Palace hotel in Delhi. A lift in the middle of the ground floor gives you a pan view of the mall. Posh Jaguars parked in the middle of the floor leave you speechless.

What you get – DLF Emporio is home to several luxury brands, both Indian and international, including Tod’s, Giorgio Armani, Jimmy Choo, Cartier, Dior, Emporio Armani, Fendi and more. On the first floor, there are more names like Burberry, Hugo Boss, DKNY, Piaget, Chopard etc. All of these would meet your needs for designer clothing, accessories, shoes and perfumes.

There are lifestyle and home décor stores as well which include Ravissant, Renaissance Homez, Ame-De-Verre and Casa Paradox on the second and the third floor of the mall. Some popular art galleries like Vadhera Art Gallery and Delhi Art gallery are also located in this mall.

If you love clothes by Indian fashion designers then there are those on the second and the third floor as well. This includes boutiques by Rohit Bal, Adarsh Gill and Manish Arora. Designer stores like Ogaan Closet and Kimaya are also worth a visit.

Hungry post shopping? Head to Café E on the ground floor and dig into the delicious and mouth watering crepes, waffles and other confectionery items. For a lavish multi-cuisine affair, try Set’z Restaurant and Bar on the fourth floor of the mall. The restobar serves multi-cuisine food like coastal Indian food, North Indian food, Thai food, Chinese food, Japanese food and Arabic food.

The On The Go kiosk set up on the second floor is good for shoppers who just wish to have a quick bite between their shopping spree. There are sofas for you to enjoy a hearty snack here.

Our verdict – The luxurious mall is a haven for shopaholics and the fashion conscious Delhiites who love to splurge on expensive clothes, jewelry and other accessories. The mall has a great range when it comes to shopping and food. However, there is no store or entertainment zone for children here.

The exquisite décor with the elegant chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, the Italian marble flooring and the luxury retail brands like Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton etc. are sure to make your heart skip a beat. The mall is open till 9 PM but many of the stores here close down at 7 PM so make sure you are done with your shopping before that. The mall has a huge parking area and provides with valet parking facility. There are restrooms, elevators, stairs and escalators on each floor. A travel desk and concierge service are also a part of the facilities available at the mall.
